On August 18th, the signing ceremony for the project of the R&D and production headquarters base of SiYou Semiconductor was held at the Fankou Street Office in Echeng District. Xia Xin, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Chief, presided over the event and witnessed the signing. The introduction of the semiconductor research and development production base marks the addition of new members to the Binjiang Science and Technology New Area, which is known as the "Little Optics Valley" of Ezhou. The SiYou Semiconductor R&D and Production Headquarters Project has a total investment of 300 million yuan, a planned land area of about 30 acres, a building area of 39000 square meters, and the construction of four new multi story clean workshops and R&D centers. After the project is completed and put into operation, its annual output value in Ezhou can reach 300 million yuan, with an expected annual comprehensive tax revenue of over 10 million yuan, driving employment for more than 450 people, helping to build the main battlefield of Ezhou's economic construction, and undertaking the Optics Valley Science and Technology Innovation Corridor.

The project investor is Wuhan Siyou Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., which was established in 2014 and is located in Optics Valley. Currently, the company has established partnerships with Sanan Optoelectronics, Huawei, AVIC Optoelectronics, Hengtong Optoelectronics IBM、 Huagong Zhengyuan, Sichuan Jiuzhou, Sichuan Changhong, China Electronics and other leading enterprises have reached strategic cooperation.
